This year the Feast of San Gennaro will be celebrated for 11 days from Thursday, September 15, through Sunday, September 25, 2016.
The Feast of San Gennaro is celebrated since 1926 by the Neapolitan community at the well-known Little Italy, once the house of famous gangsters and Italian mafia; it’s one of the most typical festivities in New York. Mulberry Street between Houston and Canal, it’s full of colors, processions, parades, entertainment, music, and a great variety of delicious Italian meals, one of the most famous events is the competition of who can eat the most cannoli.
